Lisa,

My heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers. I wish there was some wisdom I could give you in your grief. Through personal experience, the only thing I can tell you is that it doesn't get easier with time - you get stronger. The strength will come from inside you and from your family and loved ones.

God Bless.

Now, let me get this right - is it one down, four up?

Scoot, Janice and I offer our sympathy and best wishes. Like many on this forum, we have lost loved ones and good friends. If we had the magic formula to erase the pain and the emptiness, you would have it too. But there is none. So welcome back...Mom would approve.

Sorry to hear of your loss scootgal.  Everyone feels these things differently, I hope that with time you will at least be at peace with it. As others have said it never completely goes away.... But we don' t really want it to go away completely. Just focus on the good times, and clebrate their life by remembering the good times

Iron Head

my shifter is on the RIGHT side....

1970 Sportster (Bronson Replica)....shift on the right, 1 down 3 up
1972 Harley Sprint 350....shift on right, 1 up 3 down
1999 Electra Glide Classic, Peace Officer Edition.....Shift on left, 1 down 4 up
1966 Honda S-90....... It shifts

Takin' a Trip?...Yeah....Where too?...Oh, I dunno, wherever I end up I guess......Pal I wish I was you.......Really? .....Yeah.......Well, Hang in there.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm not good with words but I hope these will give you encouragement, because based on your comments i'm sure you will see her again...

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord for ever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NIVUK)

My condolences. Your mom has gone, but life still moves on. You'll go through it, believe me.

Torqueman;

  Can you get rid of THIS SPAM before I go to Ethiopia and run "Mederith" over with my Scooter!

Thanks

Oh thank you for saying that! My thought was, what kind of slug would post spam on this thread, but I didn't want to bring attention to the slug.
