Dang! I should have put this in the Penny Teck thread and forgot all about it. You can move it if you want, torqueman.

Stolen from the ADV forum.  Anybody trying this, let us know how it works, how you got your bike up on it, and how big a load you had on it. Rumor has it that using non-skid paint on the deck is a good idea. Maybe the biggest upside to this is that the unit can be taken apart for slim storage. Also, depending on the plywood avialable, a half of a ripped sheet would allow a lower height. Maybe you only need your bike a foot off the floor instaead of 2 feet? And having several 'base' heights at the ready might be more convenient.

Because of its packability, bringing it along on/in the bike trailer/hauler might be just the thing.

And a scraps of stuff become available, modifying the thing looks easy.

The solution:

nobody rides half as well as they know how.
