I mean yeah, one could tap into the speaker outs on the radio and make up a harness/connector/mount, etc, but it all comes down to how ghetto you can tolerate vs budget. If the impedence of the aforementioned headset is way off the fairing speaker impedence, that'll need to be converted, and you might want to wire in an a/b switch to turn them off when you're using the headset, etc, etc.

I think DEADMAN has it dead-on. With all the interlocks and interchanges and interwhatevers...leave it alone.

I'm at a loss(go figure), for an definitive answer for you.

It wouldn't be too hard to swap on an Ultra tank console with the jack/harnes, etc, but I just don't know if the stereo would drive it with out all the other components...PTT/CB switch, CB/Intercom module, speaker switch in fairing dash, etc.

Probably the best bet is to check out the factory wiring diagram, and see how the headset is wired in(into the CB module or the stereo, and whether it passes through the switches first, etc.).

I have a 2000 Electra Glide Classic with the "premium" radio. Unlike the Ultra it does not come with CB or a headset connection.

Do any of you know if it's practicaly possible to add the standard 6 pin receptical so I can plug in my helmet headset?
