Well if anyone comes out to CO, I'll toss on the Super Motard rims/tires and go riding with you.

For those on Adventure type bikes or just like bike events, there will be a Dirtfest in 2010 in Woodland Park, CO. Check the below link out on it.

Nice pix....If I had known you were there I would have looked you up on my way back form Ca. last March.
You have some really nice roads out there! I detoured off of 70 from Grand Junction down to Olathe and Montrose and across Blue Mesa and Gunnison Pass, (those are all Bronson Filming locations) over to 25 and back up to Pikes Peak. Absolutely beautiful ! I was surprised that part of the reservoir was still frozen.
Looks like you guys had a great time...

Well a lot of good roads are right across the main road from my house Some of the above were out at Leadville, CO which is about 2 and half hours away.

This is looking out my back window towards Pikes Peak/ Norad. Sorry cloudy today.

This is still to the West but more north, and the area where I go out on a dirt road to get to some nice stuff:

No I do not have bark busters, actually I do, as they came with the bike but I am missing one part. I plan to buy some fancy aluminum ones from http://www.highwaydirtbikes.com with flip out mirrors. I got a spare set now in the bag for clutch and brake should I break one again :-)

Oh the bro stopped where he did, because he made a clutch adjustment right before going up and was not used to the pull. I made it right up on my attempt. I always forget I can do video...but expect more to come. My bro might of got me on video a few times, I'll have to wait and see what he has. I'll post it if it came out.

And yes I have gone down...I looped the bike on a very big incline...took out the clutch lever. That sure makes it a challenge to limp back home. Took the bike to the brother in-laws where I left it and call the wife to come get me after she got out of work.

I tell you nothing llike sliding on your back down a granite hill. I had the Hein Gericke leather jacket on that day, thank God.
